He lived up to the hype and then some when routing the field to win the Champion Hurdle. There’s every chance that we could see him chasing next season and Nicky Henderson’s superstar would likely be aimed at the Arkle if he does go over the larger obstacles. His current price wouldn’t hang around for long either.

One of the most impressive performances of the week when taking the Ballymore. Willie Mullins sounded him out as a potential Champion Hurdle horse so he’d be a very live contender and the likely favourite should Constitution Hill go the chasing route.

He’s always looked like a horse needing further and, despite running a blinder in the Arkle, I’d be amazed if Nicky Henderson didn’t step him up in trip next season. With that in mind, he would have a huge chance in next year’s Ryanair Chase.
Cheltenham Gold Cup 2024
Galopin Des Champs 6/4
This year’s Gold Cup winner is already as short as 6/4 to win it again in 2024 but, in all reality, only an injury would stop him from retaining his crown and potentially becoming one of the all time greats. The horse is an absolute monster and you’d have to fancy him to win at least the next two Gold Cups based on all known form.
