Wales vs Liechtenstein – Over 3.5 Wales goals at 8/11 with bet365
Wales should secure a comfortable home win over minnows Liechtenstein to move onto seven points from their first three games in Group J.
And they can do it by racking up at least four goals in Cardiff. Craig Bellamy’s side are on an eight-game unbeaten run, winning four and drawing four, and they have scored 13 goals in that positive spell.
Furthermore, they have won all three previous meetings between the sides without conceding a goal and in their two most recent home games they have beaten Kazakhstan 3-1 and hammered Iceland 4-1.
Alex Wrigley
Norway vs Italy – Norway to win at 9/5 with bet365
Norway have won their last four competitive matches, and they could take advantage of an Italy side with a raft of selection issues to take all three points on Friday.
Manuel Locatelli, Alessandro Buongiorno, and Matteo Gabbia have all withdrawn from the squad through injury, while the likes of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Alessandro Bastoni, Federico Dimarco, Nicolo Barella, and Davide Frattesi all play for clubs involved in last weekend’s Champions League final.
Gli Azzurri have lost to France and Germany in recent months and could come unstuck against a home side that have not lost in Oslo in over a year.
Dan Childs
Estonia vs Israel – Israel win to nil at 11/8 with bet365
Israel had to come from behind to win 2-1 against Estonia in neutral Hungary on matchday one of Group I qualifying but they might go through a more comfortable experience in the return match in Tallinn.
Ran Ben Shimon’s side followed with a 4-2 loss ‘at home’ to Norway when they came up against a side packed with attacking talent and spearheaded by Erling Haaland.
But they can return to winning ways against the Estonians, who are the section’s fourth seeds and have minimal expectations of qualifying.
Estonia won 3-2 away to Moldova last time out but they had failed to score in three of the previous four games and could fire blanks on Friday.
Joe Casey
Czech Republic vs Montenegro – Czech Republic win to nil at Evs with bet365
Montenegro have had a decent run recently, winning three on the spin including a victory over Turkey, but all three of those games were on home soil and their away record leaves plenty to be desired.
The Brave Falcons have lost their last six road trips and look set for another when they visit the Czech Republic in this World Cup qualifier.
The home team have won five of their last seven outings, including victories over Ukraine, Georgia and Albania, and should have little problem dispatching these opponents.
Montenegro had lost seven on the spin before their three-game winning streak and had failed to score in five of those defeats. The Czech Republic can win this one to nil.
James Milton
North Macedonia vs Belgium – North Macedonia or draw double chance at 7/4 with bet365
Belgium managed to retain their top-flight status in the Nations League, beating Ukraine 4-3 on aggregate in March’s promotion/relegation playoff.
They needed a 3-0 home win to turn the tie around after losing the first leg 3-1 and finished the group stage with three straight defeats against France, Italy and Israel.
The Red Devils also had an underwhelming Euro 2024 campaign and they look too short to beat hosts North Macedonia, who took four points from their first two World Cup qualifiers in March.
Aaron Rogan
Finland vs Netherlands – Both teams to score at 6/5 with bet365
Finland made a strong start to World Cup qualifying with four points from two games in March, scoring three times. The Finns found the net in four of their five home qualifiers in the previous campaign, while they meet a Dutch side who have been too open of late.
The Dutch drew 2-2 and 3-3 with Spain in their Nations League quarter-final to start the year. The visitors have kept one clean sheet across their previous 10, so odds-against for both teams to score appeals.
