Spezia vs Crotone – Spezia to win at 3/4

Spezia won their last home game and they look good value for a victory in Saturday’s clash with Crotone. The hosts have had a solid Serie A campaign so far and they look set to stay in the top flight after promotion, unlike the visitors.

Crotone have conceded more goals than any other Serie A side at this point since 1956. The visitors have lost 13 of their last 15 Serie A games, while they’ve lost nine on the spin away from home. Following that terrible record Spezia to win seems like a great value options.

Stuttgart vs Borussia Dortmund – Stuttgart to win at 3/1

Borussia Dortmund were woeful in their defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend and their latest test comes sandwiched between two gruelling Champions League ties against Manchester City.

Stuttgart have been one of the surprise packages in the Bundesliga this season and are still in with a chance of Europa League qualification. They are unbeaten in six home league games and have won four of their last five.

Dortmund are in disarray right now and face losing their two best players if they don’t qualify for the Champions League next season. Four defeats in their last six Bundesliga away games suggests a resurgence is unlikely and that seven point gap to fourth could prove unbridgeable.

Bolton vs Harrogate – Bolton to win at 19/20

Bolton’s promotion tilt had a couple of wobbles over Easter with disappointing results at home to Colchester (0-0) and away to Newport (0-1), but Ian Evatt’s side can get their push back on track at home to Harrogate.

The end of the campaign cannot come fast enough for Harrogate, who have taken one point from their last five assignments. They were beaten 2-1 by the Trotters in the reverse fixture between the sides in October, and another afternoon of disappointment against Wanderers is on the cards in Saturday’s rematch.

Cheltenham vs Leyton Orient – Cheltenham to win at 4/5

League Two highflyers Cheltenham have been a top-three side for the last two months and they can take another huge step towards automatic promotion by defeating Leyton Orient in Gloucestershire.

Michael Duff’s second-placed Robins have won four of their last five home games, including a convincing 4-0 victory over promotion rivals Tranmere on Good Friday.

Cheltenham have the league’s meanest defence – 35 goals conceded – and they should be too streetwise for Orient, who are three points outside of the playoffs after their disappointing 0-0 draw at home to struggling Walsall.

Steve Davies

Football journalist at Racing Post.

Derby vs Norwich – Norwich to win at 7/10

Norwich are on their way back to the Premier League and they are doing so in style, romping away with the Championship title and fresh from smashing seven past Huddersfield in midweek.

Derby, beaten 3-1 by Reading last time out, have lost five of the last eight and could be outclassed by Daniel Farke’s visitors. The Canaries are as chirpy as you’d expect after ten wins in 12.

Liam Flin

Football journalist and La Liga and Bundesliga expert at Racing Post.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Wolfsburg – Eintracht Frankfurt to win at 11/8

Two of the Bundesliga season’s surprise packages lock horns when Eintracht Frankfurt welcome Wolfsburg to the Commerzbank-Arena this weekend and it could pay to side with the hosts.

Both sides are on target for Champions League football next season and Frankfurt have shown they can mix it with the big names by beating Borussia Dortmund and holding highflying Leipzig to a draw recently.

They are on a superb run with only one defeat in their last 16 league contests and are yet to lose on home soil in the Bundesliga this term. Take them to beat Wolfsburg, who are a far better outfit in their own backyard.
