Who to Bench

Theo Walcott

The in form Arsenal forward came off in the first half of their 3-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday. The winger is expected to be missing for five or six weeks, so your best bet is to cash in on him before his value plummets.

Pablo Zabaleta

The Manchester City defender has picked up a slight medial collateral knee ligament injury. He’s only doubtful, but there’s a distinct possibility that that injury will worsen. He’s likely to be rested against Norwich, and even if he isn’t we’re expecting Norwich to get a goal on Saturday.

Bafetimbi Gomis

Swansea’s lone striker started the season in excellent form, but with Swansea dropping off the boil he has failed to score in recent times. They play Arsenal on Saturday as well, so if you still have him I’d recommend getting rid.

Who to Buy

Danny Simpson – Price: 3.9 Million

Leicester showed that they are capable of keeping a clean sheet in their 1-0 win over Crystal Palace last weekend. They play a West Brom side on Saturday who are struggling for goals as well, and with him being played at right back in Leicester’s last three matches and costing just 3.9 million he’s an absolute bargain.

Hector Bellerin – Price: 5.9 Million

With extensive injury concerns in the right win area for Arsenal it’s very likely that Arsenal’s highest scoring defender will be pushed forward onto the right win for the next few weeks. This provides the pacey right back more opportunities for assists and goals, as well as keeping his clean sheet bonus.

Wilfried Bony – Price: 8.3 Million

With Sergio Aguero out for a few weeks yet we can expect to see Wilfried Bony leading the line for Manchester City. He’s performed well so far, picking up 16 points in their 5-1 win over Bournemouth. With City hosting a defensively poor Norwich on Saturday I would expect him to bag a goal or two for the home side.

Kevin De Bruyne – Price: 10.6 Million

We all wondered whether the £50 million man could do it in the Premier League, and he’s proved he can. He’s been a key figure in the Manchester City attack since his arrivals, and his 43 point haul so far makes him well worth the money. City play Norwich this weekend and then Aston Villa, so he’s got the chance to rack up big points in the next few weeks.

Graziano Pelle – Price: 8.4 Million

The Southampton striker has got a good run of games coming up with Bournemouth, Sunderland, and Stoke all in the next few weeks. Now that Southampton are back on form I think we can expect a flurry of goals from the big man.
