Cheltenham Festival attracts all manner of betting enthusiasts and here at FST we wanted to make sure we had you covered, bringing in expertise from the Racing Post to provide you with top-tier tips throughout the week.

It’s safe to say it paid dividends as Graeme Rodway tipped a number of winners on day one of the festival, including his NAP of the day and a sensational 44/1 accumulator to kick the week off in style!

Don’t worry if you missed out, though, because Racing Post’s Robbie Wilder is stepping up for day 3 of Cheltenham Festival right here!

Let’s take a look at how it all unfolded:

45/1 Cheltenham Day 1 acca flies in

It was a prompt 1:30pm start for our Cheltenham acca as Graeme lined up a well-backed favourite in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle:

Our selections:

  • Constitution Hill to win – Supreme Novices’ Hurdle
  • Edwardstone to win – Arkle Chase
  • Stattler to win – National Hunt Chase

Constitution Hill went off as 9/4 joint favourite in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle and produced a stunning display in what some have described as the best performance in recent memory by a novice hurdler, beating second-placed Jonbon by a mammoth 22-lengths to win our NAP of the Day and get our acca off to the perfect start.

We didn’t have to wait long for our second leg, either, as 5/2 favourite Edwardstone took to the course in the Arkle Chase at 2:10pm and beat longshot Gabynako by over four lengths to send our acca into the final leg.

That final leg didn’t come until 5:30pm in the Ukraine National Hunt Challenge Cup Amateur Jockeys’ Novices’ Chase, with our selection, Stattler, going off at 2/1 and demolishing favourite Run Wild Fred by eight lengths to send the FST followers into raptures!
