Premier League

Chelsea vs Everton – Everton Win or Draw Double Chance

Chelsea may be on a high after their FA Cup win over Liverpool in midweek, but they remain in a constant battle to gather momentum in the Premier League. They have won just one of their last six in the league and two of their last six at Stamford Bridge, and they’re coming up against an Everton side in excellent form.

The Toffees have lost just two of their 11 Premier League matches since Carlo Ancelotti took charge in December and they are now just eight points adrift of Chelsea. Everton have avoided defeat in four of their last six league away days and are unbeaten in their last four meetings with Chelsea, so I can see Ancelotti and company getting something from this match.

Championship

Wigan vs Luton – Wigan Win

Wigan are in fine form in the Championship, as they top the form table across the last eight games. The Latics have won three on the spin to move away from danger, recording more victories in February than in the previous four months combined.

Now that things are looking up for Wigan, Luton at home is the perfect fixture for them. The visitors have lost 15 times on the road this season, including 12 losses in their previous 13 trips. With Wigan heading here with five wins from their last eight, they should have enough to beat the bottom side.

Serie A

Juventus vs Inter Milan – BTTS

The biggest Serie A game of the season kicks off on Sunday night, and both sides head into the game in stellar form. Juventus come into it having scored in 34 of their 36 matches under Maurizio Sarri, hitting the back of the net in 100% of their home games this season.

However, Inter have scored in 100% of their away trips, with the two sides scoring in all but one of their respective league games this term. Both sides are getting goals and have in-form forwards. With eight of Inter’s last 10 away league games seeing both teams score, BTTS is our tip here.

Bundesliga

Bayer Leverkusen vs Eintracht Frankfurt – Bayer Leverkusen Win

My best bet for this week is Bayer Leverkusen to win this Saturday’s clash with Eintracht Frankfurt. Leverkusen have won six of their last eight Bundesliga fixtures going into this game, while Eintracht have lost eight of their 11 Bundesliga away games this season.

Leverkusen have won their last two Bundesliga home games going into this fixture, and they face an Eintracht Frankfurt side that currently hold the Bundesliga’s worst away record. They have earned two fewer away points than the next worst side, Augsburg, and have averaged a meagre 0.63 points per game on the road.

Ligue 1

Reims vs Brest – Under 2.5 Goals

Reims have a great knack of keeping games very tight and tetchy and that has continued to be the case this season. Much of that is thanks to their very obvious style that ranks defence as their primary need. They’ve conceded the least goals in Ligue 1 this season, just 21 which is three less than PSG, and rarely let games run away from them. They lost 3-0 to Strasbourg a few weeks ago but this was the first time they’d conceded more than two goals in the league since May.
Couple this incredible defence with a rather poor attack, one which has netted the second fewest goals this season in Ligue 1, and you can see why 11 of their last 13 home games have had under 2.5 goals scored. They face Brest in this one and with this low-scoring market winning in four of the last five meetings between these two, we are backing it to happen again here.

La Liga

Eibar vs Mallorca – Eibar to Win

Eibar have been in superb form at home in recent weeks and head into this Saturday’s clash against Mallorca having amassed ten points from their last four outings at Ipurua, including a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Levante on Matchday 26.

Jose Luis Mendilibar’s side have the chance to move eight points clear of the relegation zone here and that should spur them on to another success against the worst travelling team in La Liga.

Mallorca have collected just two points from their 12 outings on the road this term, so a combination of their ongoing struggles and Eibar’s recent exploits at Ipurua make the hosts a fantastic bet for Saturday lunchtime’s clash at a shade of odds-on.
