Born in the south east of Ireland, Simon put his life-long love of football to good use when he started a successful independent blog in 2010. On Friday evening, continental specialists Sevilla and Serie A behemoths Inter Milan will descend on the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne to contest the 197th and final fixture of the 2019/20 Europa League.
The competition, which was known as the UEFA Cup until 2009, is approaching the climax of its 49th campaign since its inception in 1971, and on Friday, Sevilla and Inter have an opportunity to add their own unique twist to the tournament’s incredible history.
