In Play Leagues to watch

When it comes to in play betting their is money to be made from leagues from all over the world. Here is a run down of our favourite leagues to watch when it comes to betting on in play football.

5) Czech U21 League

Averaging 3.93 goals per game, it’s no wonder to see this league as one of the best ones to watch when it comes to in play betting.

The league winners scored a colossal 125 goals in just 38 games and only won the division by 2 points. This shows the goalscoring nature of the league!

Usually the bookmakers have this league sussed out in terms of pre-match pricing. You are usually looking at Over 4.5 goals priced between the 8/11 – 11/10 mark. It’s not going to be easy backing this if you’re trying to make money.

However wait till the games go in-play and the world is your oyster. The top 4 teams in the division have all won over 60% of their games. Due to the nature of the league these teams will regularly concede the first goal. This is when we strike with an inplay bet of either the stronger team to win or draw no bet.

Additionally, a lot of goals are scored late on in the first half, plenty of cash can be made by backing a further goal to be scored in the first half from around the 30th minute mark.

4) Norwegian Eliteserien

The top flight in Norway is renowned for goals. Currently half way through the season we have seen on average 3.2 goals per game.

This division is one of our favourites for backing Both Teams to Score in play. So far this season 64% of games has seen both teams score. Pre match prices vary on this market anywhere from 1/2 to 5/6 generally. A goal-less 15 minutes and your average 4/6 pre match price is now anywhere from 11/10 to 11/8 and a much more backable price!

Also the top teams rarely keep a clean sheet unlike most other divisions. Current leaders Rosenborg have only kept a clean sheet on 5 occasions, 2 of those being the first 2 games of the season. If Rosenborg get to half time without conceding a goal then you can get a favourable price on them doing so in the second half

3) MLS (Major League Soccer)

The MLS has been labelled as the “retirement home” for European greats, however these players still have a lot to offer the game and are making the MLS a fantastic league to watch.

The MLS has attracted world stars such as David Beckham, David Villa, Kaka and England international duo Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard. Acquiring players like this can only make the league a better standard to play in and watch.

Recently, this league has been insane for both teams to score. For example the last game week 8 matches were played, a colossal 36 goals were scored and both teams scored in 6 of the 8 matches.

This league is generally played on Sunday evenings and is always available to watch on Live-stream. It is a great source of goals, and is one you should definitely keep an eye on when betting in play.

 2) Dutch Jupiler

The second flight of dutch football is known by many to be a goal-fest and at an average of 3.21 goals per game you can see why.

This is generally a tough decision to bet on in terms of the full time match result market. Apart from run away winners NEC Nijmegen who won the league by 21 points, everyone else in the league lost at least 9 games.

Score-lines are very unpredicatable to back with the most common score being the 1-1 draw, occurring in just 9% of matches played. This is why we would always recommend to back goals. Hot spots to back goals would be the 10 minutes before Half time and the 10 minutes before the end of the game.

Games generally take place on a Friday evening at 7pm, so prime time for our in play tips. Last season we did very well on our in play tips from this league and are really looking forward to it’s return!

1) Hong Kong Reserve Division

This is by far my favourite league to bet on in play, all due to the amount of goals that are scored in this division. Last season on average there was 4.71 goals per game….PER GAME! Incredible!

This season the bookies didn’t seem to reflect the goals galore nature of the league in their pre-match pricing. Regularly over 3.5 match goals was priced at 8/11 pre match meaning that after 5-10 minutes into the game you could back the same bet at odds of around even money (1/1)

Their lack of knowledge here enabled us to tip winners galore. We have not lost a bet we have tipped from this division and it’s not hard to see why!

The best team in the division is Rangers Reserves however they were pipped to the winning line by Pegasus reserves. I expect both teams to start the season strongly again when it commences in September and the scoring nature of the league to take off again!

Games take pretty much every Wednesday, so if you are free on Wednesday’s when these games are on i would really advise that you check them out!
