Lucky punter lands over £21k from £1 bet thanks to smart cash out!
One William Hill punter was left celebrating on Saturday having won almost £22,000 from a £1 accumulator on that day’s football.
The customer correctly selected 15 winning teams from the Premier League and the Championship, and then, wisely as it turned out, cashed out before their final selection was a loser.

They had put their faith in Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool taking three points from their trip to Crystal Palace but they would have seen the whole amazing bet go up in smoke had they not taken the money, as the Reds, who were 7/10 with the firm to win the game, were frustrated in a goalless draw in south London.
William Hill’s Lee Phelps said: “Having had the sense to cash out before Liverpool drew with Crystal Palace, this winner will be thankful that the one result he incorrectly predicted happened to be in the late kick-off.”
The shrewd judge was able to trouser a whopping £21,755 from the following correct predictions before cashing out.
