Racing Post expert Joe Casey has picked his top scorers in each division, and together they combine for a gigantic 1,121/1 treble.

This bet will have to be placed before 8pm on Friday, when the new League One campaign gets underway as Luton host AFC Wimbledon.

We recommend backing this as an each-way bet covering the top four places. All prices quoted come from bet365 and new customers can take advantage of their sign-up offer using the button below.

Back Our 1,121/1 EFL Top Scorers Each-Way Treble Tip Here

League Two – Alassana Jatta @ 10/1

Joe Casey’s verdict: Alassana Jatta was only outscored by Michael Cheek in League Two last season, and the Notts County centre-forward looks a good price to go one better this year.

He scored 19 times in 40 appearances and, at 26, is approaching his prime.

With his first full season in League Two under his belt, the former Viborg player could kick on and help promotion-hopefuls Notts County to a successful season.

League One – Alfie May @ 5/1

Joe Casey’s verdict: Huddersfield are looking to bounce straight back up to the Championship and the exploits of League One specialist Alfie May could prove crucial to their chances.

He managed 16 goals in the division last season and was the 2023/25 Golden Boot winner with Charlton.

This takes his tally to 82 goals in the third tier over the past four seasons, putting him tenth on the list of all-time top goalscorers in the division.

May has placed in the top seven goalscorers in each of the last four League One campaigns, and he could deliver big numbers for a side heavily backed to secure promotion.

Championship – Kyogo Furuhashi @ 16/1

Joe Casey’s verdict: A new arrival who looks a tempting price to be the division’s top goalscorer is Kyogo Furuhashi at Birmingham.

Jay Stansfield is a much shorter price than his new teammate, but he only scored ten non-penalty goals in League One last season.

Kyogo, on the other hand, netted 85 goals in 165 games for Celtic and was Scottish Premiership top scorer in 2022-23 without taking spot kicks.

The Japanese international will be desperate to nail down a starting spot for the upcoming World Cup and is a real danger in the box. Expect him to be right up there in the goal charts.
