Pierre-Emile Højbjerg over 51.5 passes – 5/6 (SOUTHAMPTON vs Chelsea)

Redmond Bednarek Southampton

Combative Danish midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg is the conduit through which a good chunk of Southampton’s possession generally flows.

The 24-year old has the highest passes per game average at the club in the Premier League this season, distributing the ball 59.7 times per 90 minutes of top-flight action.

However, that passing average climbs to a slightly higher 61.7 in Southampton’s league matches at St. Mary’s, and Højbjerg has already hit 69 passes or more in four of his seven Premier League starts for the Saints overall this term.

The former Bayern Munich youngster will be central to Southampton’s plans again when they play Chelsea on the south coast on Sunday, and he looks well priced to pass his way beyond a modest 51.5 passes target.

Our analysts think that the Blues’ superior quality will eventually tell on Sunday. Read our Chelsea vs Southampton betting tips and match preview to find out why.

Bernardo Silva to score anytime – 11/10 (MAN CITY vs Wolves)

With four goals in four Premier League starts this season, Bernardo Silva seems to have sharpened his finishing skills this term, and the diminutive Portuguese schemer will want to keep up his productivity against an out of sorts Wolves team on Sunday.

Interestingly, 100% of Bernardo’s four goals were scored in games at the Etihad, and the 25-year old tends to do most of his best work in the familiar surroundings of City’s home ground.

Silva has in fact, scored 11 of his 17 City career Premier League goals at the Etihad, and the talented technician will back himself to score against a Wolves defence that has kept only one clean sheet in their last 18 league matches on the road.

In their match preview for the game, our analysts explain why Bernardo Silva and his teammates look set to collect three more Premier League points against Wanderers. Read their detailed Man City vs Wolves predictions now to see their betting tips for Sunday’s contest.

Jefferson Lerma to get booked – 6/4 (Arsenal vs BOURNEMOUTH)

Bournemouth’s ball-winning midfielder Jefferson Lerma has been one of the Premier League’s most carded players this season.

The 24-year old’s reputation for leaving his foot in is well established, and Lerma has already picked up four yellow cards in just six Premier League starts for the Cherries – a total that makes him the joint second most booked player in the league to date in 2019/20.

On Sunday, Lerma and Bournemouth face an Arsenal side that rank as the third most fouled team in the entire division behind Aston Villa and Man Utd.

The Gunners’ players have been stopped illegally 12.6 times per game on average, and when you combine those numbers with Jefferson Lerma’s overzealous tackling technique, the Colombian looks a prime candidate in the bookings market for Sunday’s game.

Our experts have backed Unai Emery’s men to come out on top this weekend in their Arsenal vs Bournemouth betting tips. Read their match preview for more predictions.

Marcus Rashford under 1.5 shots on target – 4/5 (Newcastle vs MAN UTD)

Marcus Rashford misses a Premier League penalty for the first time

Sunday’s meeting between Newcastle and Man Utd at St. James’ Park is a clash between two clubs in crisis.

Manchester United are without a win in 10 competitive away matches, and the main root of their problems on the road and their troubles in general has been their dreadful performances in front of goal.

United have averaged just 0.77 goals per game since their opening day 4-0 win against Chelsea, and striker Marcus Rashford’s second goal against the Blues that day, remains the only goal he has scored from open play since last season.

The 21-year old’s performances seem to be regressing by the week, and the England international racked up just one shot on target in total in his last two Premier League starts combined.

Rashford’s confidence looks close to rock bottom, and we think he is priced incredibly generously to hit under 1.5 shots on target when a woefully toothless Man Utd team take on Newcastle this weekend.

With Rashford and the rest of his Red Devils’ teammates continuing to look clueless in the final third, it’s no surprise to see our experts forecast a 0-0 draw in their Newcastle vs Man Utd predictions. Read their match preview for more free betting tips.
