171/1 Royal Ascot Accumulator Tip

Believing – King Charles III Stakes (3.20 Tuesday) at 9/2

Believing is a tough and reliable sprinter and George Boughey’s charge looks set for another big run in the King Charles III Stakes.

The five-year-old finished runner-up in the Nunthorpe and Flying Five Stakes, as well as coming third in Prix de l’Abbaye last term, in what was a consistent and top-level season over the minimum trip.

Believing returned to action to win over six furlongs at Meydan in April, in a run where she was always prominent under William Buick. If Ryan Moore, who takes the ride at Ascot, can keep the five-year-old closer to the pace, her trademark strong finish can see her take the King Charles III Stakes prize.

Field Of Gold – St James’s Palace Stakes (4.20 Tuesday) at 4/5

Field Of Gold was a searingly impressive winner of the Irish 2,000 Guineas last month, where John and Thady Gosden’s charge burst clear to beat the 115-rated Cosmic Year by three-and-three-quarter lengths.

The three-year-old son of Kingman was mighty unfortunate to have been beaten by Ruling Court, who reopposes in the St James’s Palace Stakes, in the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket and Field Of Gold can show that he is the number one three-year-old colt over the mile trip.

Anmaat – Prince Of Wales’s Stakes (4.20 Wednesday) at 10/3

Anmaat was narrowly beaten by Los Angeles in the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh last month, but Owen Burrow’s charge is fancied to reverse the placings.

Anmaat looked to be coming with a winning run, when just failing to hold off Los Angeles, but the seven-year-old had to do a huge amount of running from the back of the field and he was also conceding race fitness to Aiden O’Brien’s runner.

The son of Awtaad won the Champion Stakes on his only previous visit to Ascot and another big run is expected in the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes.

Trawlerman – Gold Cup (4.20 Thursday) at 3/1

Kyprios’ retirement has left the Gold Cup looking fairly open and the likely fast ground could account for the chances of Sweet William, Coltrane and Trueshan.

Trawlerman has no issue with speedy conditions and the Ascot record of John and Thady Gosden’s charge reads 3,2,1,3,11.

The win came when beating the imperious Kyprios in the Long Distance Cup on British Champions Day and the seven-year-old looked as good as ever when bolting up at Sandown last time out.

Trawlerman appears capable of running near to his peak in the Gold Cup and he may be good enough to pick up the prize.
