With three rounds to play in Italy, the European spots and the final relegation place are up in the air. That means there’s plenty to play for in this weekend’s action, with five more games to come on Sunday. We’ll be looking at what is on the line across the day, while we’re focusing in on key statistics and recent form from four of the day’s matches.

There’s top quality action spanning the day in Italy, finishing up with a meeting between two Serie A giants. There are key clashes at the top and bottom earlier in the day, while Sunday finishes with Roma chasing three-points against champions Juventus. Ahead of the weekend action, here’s everything you need to know, along with our Serie A fourfold covering the action.

Frosinone vs Udinese

While Frosinone are now set for Serie B next season, Udinese could yet save themselves in this clash. The fourth bottom side head to second from bottom Frosinone, with this a must-win game for Udinese. However, the Zebrette have won just one of their 17 away trips this season and none of their last 14. It’s hardly a record that is going to inspire confidence in this one.

The Zebrette are heading here with seven defeats in their last eight trips, while they’ve scored just 12 goals on the road this term. Meanwhile, Frosinone have lost just one of their meetings here with sides from 12th down. Given that Udinese have lost their last 10 visits to this region of Italy, we see the value here in Frosinone Double Chance.

Sampdoria vs Empoli

Can Empoli boost their survival hopes in this weekend’s visit to Sampdoria? The away side are looking to close the two-point gap to 17th this weekend, while Sampdoria’s main aim is to get forward Fabio Quagliarella a few more goals. The striker became the oldest player to score 25 goals in a single Serie A season. He’s currently the top scorer in the league, while we see him scoring again this weekend.

Quagliarella should expect to find the net against the worst travelling side in the league. Empoli are yet to win on their travels, losing 12 of 17 matches on the road this term. Given that Sampdoria have a 70% win rate against the sides below them in the league, they should dispatch a team who are in terrible form away from their own ground. We see Samp cruising to a victory over the Azzurri, especially after the manner of their 4-2 win in the reverse fixture. A home win is what we’re backing here and it is reasonably priced considering their respective records so far.

SPAL vs Napoli

Kalidou Koulibaly Napoli

SPAL head into this clash chasing a top half finish, following an eight-game run which has seen them lose just once. Given the threat of relegation hung over them earlier this term, the hosts have done remarkably well to move clear of danger. They can now enjoy this meeting with Napoli, which is a chance for another surprise win for SPAL.

The last four games at this ground have seen the hosts beat Roma, Lazio and Juventus. They’ve beaten four of the current top five at home, conceding in each. Five of the last six games here have seen both teams score, as have 14 of the last 15 clashes between these two sides at this ground. Given that form, we see value in backing goals in this one. Napoli head into this game having scored in their last 11 league games, while they should have some trouble at the back against the giant-killers SPAL. That makes both teams to score our prediction here.

Roma vs Juventus

Juventus Dybala Inter Milan

The big game of the weekend sees Roma putting their European hopes on the line against Juventus. Claudio Ranieri needs his men to claim three points or their Champions League chances are basically over. However, they aren’t going to find things easy against this Juve side, even with the champions shipping more goals than usual.

The visitors have seen both teams score in their previous seven outings, while this could well make it eight. The pair have seen both teams score in four of their last five meetings. On top of that, all of Roma’s home clashes with top 10 sides have seen both teams score. Juve have scored in 97% of their league matches this term, but their recent problems at the back should let Roma in. That’s why we’re siding with both teams to score in the final clash of the day in Italy.

Serie A Accumulator Odds

These four tips combined gives us a fourfold that is priced up above 11/1 with BetVictor. We see the league’s two worst sides on the road having more problems on their travels, while the top two should give us two more high scoring affairs. These picks come from our latest Serie A match previews, while the fourfold covers almost all of the day’s action.
