So, you’ve had a look through our detailed analysis and Super Bowl predictions, you’ve browsed our stunning range of Super Bowl Player Prop Bets, but you’re still not satisfied? Well, fortunately for you the Super Bowl provides some of the weirdest and most wonderful betting opportunities out there.

Whether you’re just a casual fan that wants to add some fun wagers to your slip or you’re a non-football fan that watches for the party, commercials, and pageantry, the novelty prop bets market provides some great options for you to throw some money on.

From the length of the national anthem, to the color of performers’ outfits, to the color of the Gatorade bath, there are tons of opportunities for you to have some fun wagering on the unpredictable. We outlined some of our favorite novelty betting markets below, and we’ve even managed to squeeze in a few well-reasoned tips for you in this most unpredictable of areas!

First Gatorade Colour Dunked Over Winning Coach – Red at 13/5 with Betfair

This is a fun price to get on a prop that seems it has a decent chance to hit considering both teams’ main colors are shades of red. It would make quite the picture to see Reid or Shanahan dumped in Gatorade of their team’s colors, so we are siding with red or pink to be in the container as it showers the newest Super Bowl winning coach.

First Coach to be Shown During the National Anthem – Andy Reid at 11/10 with Betfair

We’re a little surprised that this prop is priced the same as Kyle Shanahan to be showed first given how much attention Reid has been getting this week. The future Hall of Fame coach is arguably the best coach to never win a Super Bowl, so it’s hard to imagine the broadcast passing up on this easy opportunity to set the stage for Reid’s biggest game ever.

What else can you bet on?

There are novelty prop bet markets available from start to finish in the Super Bowl. Want to bet on the length of the National Anthem or that Demi Lovato will sing the Anthem in a Kansas City Chiefs jersey? You can do that.

Fancy yourself to be one of the lucky ones? You can take a wild punt at the result of the coin toss before the game in that case.

Then comes the half-time show, where you can bet on any number of celebrities to make a guest appearance alongside Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, from the almost dead-cert of Pitbull at 1/14, all the way to a ludicrous 500/1 shot at Donald Trump, Ruby Walsh or Jedward being invited on stage. Still in the footballing mood? Gerard Pique is 40/1 to make a half-time show guest appearance.

The fun doesn’t stop after the game either, where you can bet on who the Super Bowl MVP will mention first in his speech. Donald Trump makes an appearance there too at 55/1, or perhaps you think the MVP will be a huge Disney fan and mention the franchise first at 7/1?

And finally, our favorite novelty bet for this Super Bowl is 20/1 for a Power Outage to interrupt play, which happened just seven years ago at the Mercedes-Benz Superdown in New Orleans when Super Bowl XLVII was stopped for 34 minutes due to a partial power cut.

Where can I find these bets?

A number of UK bookmakers are carrying novelty bet markets, but our search showed that Betfair are offering the most expansive selection of novelty props, so we’re recommend betting there. You can even get up to £100 in free bets if you sign up!
