Weekly Top 10: 645/1 Acca combining this week's best bets

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

While the Champions League is taking a short break this week, we’ve got a packed midweek ahead across Europe. In addition to the EFL Cup last 16, there’s a full card of midweek Serie A action to take us through to the weekend.

I’ve taken a look at this week’s fixture list to pick out 10 bets from the next seven days, and those tips combine for a 645/1 accumulator!

Top 10 Accumulator

Lazio to win at Sassuolo (Tuesday, 5.30pm)

Lazio have made a brilliant start under Gennaro Gattuso, winning seven of their first eight Serie A matches. The Biancocelesti are a perfect four for four on their travels, and they’re meeting Sassuolo at the perfect time.

Sassuolo have lost three of their last four league games, falling to a 2-0 loss at Como at the weekend.

Como to win and over 2.5 goals at Torino (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Como have now shaken off their three-game winless run by stringing together three successive victories, including last week’s thumping win over Manchester United.

Cesc Fabregas can lead his side to another positive result on Tuesday, as they head to a Torino side that has already suffered home defeats against AC Milan and Roma.

Four of Como’s five Serie A wins this season have featured at least three goals, including all three of their away successes.

Over 2.5 goals in Monza vs Napoli (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Max Allegri hasn’t been able to install his trademark steely defensive foundation with Napoli, and the Partenopei threw away the lead twice in Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Roma.

They could be set for another back-and-forth game on Wednesday, as they visit a Monza side that has won back-to-back home games in style.

They followed a 2-1 win over Sassuolo with a 4-0 victory against Cagliari, and seven of their eight games this term have featured at least three goals.

Fulham to win vs Crystal Palace (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Alvaro Arbeloa will be hoping that his Fulham side have turned a corner following victories over Hull and Coventry. While this Carabao Cup tie is a distraction from their survival bid, a home clash with Crystal Palace offers them a chance to extend their winning run.

The Eagles have lost three of their last four matches, and they’re only a point above the drop zone.

Palace won 3-2 at Craven Cottage at the start of September, but Fulham led twice in that game, and they generated 3.14 Expected Goals to Palace’s 1.97. With Arbeloa’s side keeping back-to-back clean sheets, they can claim some revenge.

Atalanta double chance at Fiorentina (Thursday, 7.45pm)

Atalanta have had to run the gauntlet across their last four away games, suffering defeats at Ajax, AC Milan, Juventus and Roma.

However, la Dea should fare better in Thursday’s visit to third-bottom Fiorentina. La Viola have lost three of their four home games, and their only victory in the league this term came at bottom side Venezia.

Fiorentina won only four of 19 home matches last term, and they’re set for another difficult campaign.

Villarreal to win and both teams to score vs Espanyol (Friday, 8pm)

Villarreal saw off Valencia on Saturday to claim their third league win of the season. They have the perfect chance to build on that when they host third-bottom Espanyol.

Espanyol have lost four of their last five games, and they’ve suffered three 2-1 defeats in five away matches this season.

Villarreal have managed only one clean sheet in 10 league games, so back them to win and concede.

Over 2.5 goals in Levante vs Atletico Madrid (Saturday, 1pm)

Atletico Madrid have put together a six-game winning run in La Liga, but they could be tested in Saturday afternoon’s visit to Levante.

Across four home games this season, Levante have already met Barcelona, Real Betis, Sevilla and Athletic Bilbao. However, they’ve scored 13 goals in those four matches.

Levante have also conceded 10 times in those four games, and all but one of their previous six league assignments have featured three or more goals.

Real Betis -1 handicap vs Malaga (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Winless Malaga are propping up the La Liga table, and they’ve already suffered a 4-0 defeat at Real Madrid and a 2-0 loss at Atletico Madrid.

Real Betis have put themselves in the top four with a fine start that has seen them win four from five at home. Manuel Pellegrini’s side have scored seven of their 10 home goals across their previous two games, and they can claim a comfortable win over the struggling visitors.

Utrecht over 1.5 goals at Telstar (Sunday, 1.30pm)

Telstar are winless at home this season, and they’ve conceded two or more goals in each of those matches. They sit third from bottom in the Eredivisie standings, having shipped 15 goals in total across their five home games.

Utrecht’s only defeat across their last six games came against leaders Feyenoord, and they should add to Telstar’s woes.

Over 2.5 goals in Strasbourg vs Auxerre (Sunday, 2pm)

Strasbourg suffered their third straight defeat on Sunday, falling to a 3-0 loss at Rennes. It’s been a rough year for the club, starting with Liam Rosenior departing for sister-side Chelsea.

Strasbourg are third from bottom in Ligue 1, but they will be targeting Sunday’s clash with Auxerre as an opportunity to turn things around.

The visitors have suffered 4-1, 3-1 and 5-2 defeats on their travels this season. With Strasbourg failing to keep a clean sheet in eight league matches, more goals should be on the way for both sides.
