Super Bowl LX Predictions with 11/1 and 60/1 tips

Super Bowl LX Predictions with 11/1 and 60/1 tips

The Washington Commanders were last season’s surprise package in an NFL season that boiled down to the usual suspects fighting for the Conference titles.

The battle to return to the Super Bowl begins shortly for the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs — the Lombardi Trophy holders for the previous two years.

The Eagles capped off a dominant campaign in spectacular style in Las Vegas and will look to go again under the leadership of Jalen Hurts and a resurgent Saquon Barkley.

The NFL’s drive for competitive balance should ensure there will be more Cinderella stories like the Commanders, who went 4-13 the year before last season’s run to the Conference title game.

Now for the tricky task of identifying just which teams can overthrow the Eagles in the NFC and break the dominance of the AFC’s big three — the Chiefs, Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens.

The San Francisco 49ers would dearly love to be contesting Super Bowl LX in their own stadium at Santa Clara, but they have lingering injury concerns over star offensive duo Christian McCaffrey and Brandon Aiyuk.

Here’s our take on the best antepost bets and, as always, we’ll have weekly tips and predictions throughout the season—so keep an eye on our NFL betting hub.

Super Bowl LX predictions & outright winner tip

Detroit Lions to win Super Bowl LX – 11/1

The Lions came within a whisker of reaching the big dance two years ago, falling to the Eagles in a thrilling NFC Championship.

And they posted a league-best 15-2 regular-season record in 2024 before injuries finally took their toll in the postseason.

But with continuity on both sides of the ball and a maturing core, Detroit look ready to take the final step.

Jared Goff has silenced critics with back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons, and the offensive line remains one of the best in football.

Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and tight end Sam LaPorta give Goff elite weapons, while Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery form one of the best backfield duo’s around.

Defensively, the Lions have added depth in the secondary and retained key pass rushers.

Detroit ranked top five in defensive DVOA last season, top three for offensive DVOA and topped the equivalent special teams category.

That is the kind of overall excellence that every team strives for and with Dan Campbell’s aggressive style and a favourable schedule, the Lions could be the team to finally bring a Lombardi Trophy to Motown.

60/1 NFL Conference winners double tip

Detroit Lions to win the NFC – 9/2

The Lions will be returning nine of their 11 starters from their No. 1-ranked offensive unit and they have more depth than most on defense.

That could give them the edge over the Eagles, who have lost five players from their Super Bowl-winning defense and their offensive play-caller in co-ordinator Kellen Moore.

The Lions have a strong home-field advantage at Ford Field and a schedule that avoids the toughest AFC matchups. If they can secure the No.1 seed, their path to the Super Bowl becomes significantly smoother.

Cincinnati Bengals to win the AFC – 10/1

Last year, the Bengals became first NFL team ever to miss out on the postseason despite having each of the league’s leading passer (Joe Burrow), the league’s leading receiver (Ja’Marr Chase), and the league’s leader in sacks (Trey Hendrickson).

They gave themselves a mountain to climb but almost squeezed them into the playoffs on the back of a five-game win streak.

Burrow is back to full health and ready to reclaim his spot among the league’s elite. With Chase and fellow elite wideout Tee Higgins extended and Hendrickson set to follow, the Bengals look well placed to contend again.

Cincinnati’s defence quietly ranked top 10 in red zone efficiency last season and has added speed at linebacker and depth in the secondary. If Burrow stays upright, the Bengals have the firepower to outgun anyone in the AFC.

NFL 2025/26 special bets

Chicago Bears to make the playoffs – 7/4

The Bears have built around Caleb Williams by bolstering the offensive line in free agency and giving the young QB a couple of potential breakout receiving weapons via the draft.

They have a new head coach in ex-Lions offensive wizard Ben Johnson and their defence, led by Montez Sweat and Jaylon Johnson, should be much improved. In a wide-open NFC North, Chicago could sneak into the postseason.

Will Anderson Jr. Defensive Player of the Year – 14/1

Anderson is a former Defensive Rookie of the Year who clearly has his supporters among the voting panel.

The Texans’ edge rusher had 11 regular-season sacks last season and looks poised to take another leap.

Houston’s pass rush will again be formidable with Danielle Hunter operating at the other end of the line and potentially taking some double-teams away from Anderson.
