The Long Haul - 42/1 acca featuring 6 away-day winners

The first international break of the season takes centre stage this week, with a barren first half of the week giving way to a flurry of international action beginning on Thursday.
And Thursday is where our shorter-than-usual Long Haul begins as I pick out two visiting sides on each of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday that are likely to upset the home crowd, combining into a tasty 42/1 accumulator.
Back our 42/1 Long Haul Away-Day Winners acca here!
Thursday – Wales and Turkey to win
Kazakhstan and Wales get the World Cup qualifiers up and running on Thursday afternoon, and Craig Bellamy could give his side a qualification boost in Astana.
Cymru have picked up seven points from four games so far and beat Kazakhstan 3-1 in the reverse fixture. Their defeat to Belgium in June ended an impressive nine-match unbeaten streak, while Thursday’s hosts have lost three of their last four games and four of their last five at home.
Later on Thursday, Georgia play host to Turkey in Tbilisi, where the Crescent Stars can get their qualifying campaign off to a winning start.
Turkey beat Georgia 3-1 in Euro 2024 and have won three of their last four games. Georgie look in good form on paper, but their recent opposition has been weak, and they did lose to the Czech Republic, Albania, and Ukraine last year.
Friday – Czech Republic and France to win
The Czech Republic have won three of their four World Cup qualifiers in Group L, including a 2-0 win at home to Friday’s hosts Montenegro.
That was their sixth successive win against Montenegro, and they head to the Podgorica City Stadium having won six, drawn two, and lost just one of their last nine games.
France may have failed to win the UEFA Nations League this summer, but they have picked up six wins from their last nine games in what has been a difficult run of fixtures. Their victims in this period include Germany, Croatia, Italy, and Belgium, and they are justified favourites to win in the neutral Tarczynski Arena.
Saturday – Bristol Rovers and Leyton Orient to win
We are treated to a bumper list of League One and League Two fixtures alongside the World Cup qualifiers on Saturday, and Bristol Rovers look good value to extend Newport County’s misery in the lunchtime kick-off.
The Ironsides, after taking four points from their opening two games, have lost five competitive games on the spin, and now come up against a Bristol Rovers side that have recovered from a difficult start to win back-to-back games in League Two.
At 3pm, League One’s second-worst team Port Vale could succumb to a fifth league defeat of the season against Leyton Orient. The hosts have taken just one point from three home games following their promotion, and Leyton Orient, who won 1-0 the last time they visited Vale Park, beat Plymouth on the road a couple of weeks ago.
