Betting tip: Barnsley to win
Barnsley have lost only two of their last 13 Championship games at Oakwell, and the Tykes are unbeaten in their last ten meetings with local rivals Rotherham. Expect the hosts to take the points and the bragging rights on Saturday.
15:00 – Wigan vs Burton Albion (League One)
Betting tip: Wigan to win
Four straight victories have given Wigan a great chance of League One survival but with work still to do, they can collect another three points against Burton. Third-tier survival is all but secured for Burton though they looked leggy in Tuesday’s 1-0 loss at home to Lincoln and they could suffer again on Saturday.
15:00 – Cambridge United vs Stevenage (League Two)
Betting tip: Cambridge United to win
League Two table toppers Cambridge have been coping superbly with the run-in and can edge closer to the title with a win against Stevenage at the Abbey Stadium. Mark Bonner’s side were impressive 4-2 winners at Leyton Orient on Tuesday and should be too strong for mid-table Boro, who are winless in their last four attempts.
17:45 – Sparta Rotterdam vs VVV (Eredivisie)
Betting tip: Sparta Rotterdam to win
Sparta have won two games on the bounce in Rotterdam and they should be able to harness home advantage again against an out of sorts VVV on Saturday. Venlo have lost an eye-watering ten Eredivisie fixtures in a row, and with their confidence at a low ebb, another day of disappointment looks possible.
18:00 – New York City FC vs FC Cincinnati (MLS)
Betting tip: New York City FC
Both sides started the season in disappointing fashion, but NYCFC look best equipped to pick up their first win of the new MLS campaign on Saturday. Cincinnati lost all three meetings with New York FC last season, and they should find it difficult to shake off the hangover from those results this weekend.
18:30 – Besiktas vs Kayserispor (Turkish Super Lig)
Betting tip: Besiktas to win
League leaders Besiktas dropped points in each of their last two matches, though they can get their title tilt back on an even keel against struggling Kayserispor. The hosts have won 12 of their last 15 Super Lig home assignments and they should have too much class for their relegation threatened visitors.
19:00 – Auxerre vs Dunkerque (French Ligue 2)
Betting tip: Auxerre to win
Auxerre have tasted defeat just three times in 17 Ligue 2 home fixtures this team, while Dunkerque have already lost ten times in 17 matches on the road in the division. Auxerre beat their opponents 1-0 in December and they are worth backing to complete the double on Saturday.
19:45 – Sassuolo vs Sampdoria (Serie A)
Betting tip: Sassuolo to win
Sassuolo’s comeback win at AC Milan last time out was their third win on the spin in Serie A and with their confidence levels high, the Neroverdi can outgun a Sampdoria outfit that has notched exactly once in each of their last six matches.
20:00 – Real Madrid vs Real Betis (La Liga)
Betting tip: Real Madrid to win
Real Madrid need a win to keep themselves in the title hunt and Los Blancos can claim the victory they need against a stuttering Real Betis. The visitors were held to draws in each of their last four fixtures, and they lack the cutting edge to halt Madrid’s five-match winning streak on their own patch.
23:00 – Cruz Azul vs Atletico San Luis (Liga MX)
Betting tip: Cruz Azul to win
Liga MX pace setters Cruz Azul are in blistering form and having won 13 and drawn two of their last 15 matches in all competitions, they have built a head of steam that should power them to victory against Atletico San Luis. The visitors have been bested in each of their last five contests and another defeat is on the cards on Saturday.
