Women's Euro 2025 outright tips with 14/1 & 2/1 selections

Women’s football in England enjoyed its zenith three years ago when Sarina Wiegman’s side won the European Championship in dramatic style at Wembley, but a successful defence of the crown is far from guaranteed for the Lionesses in Switzerland this summer.
Chloe Kelly’s extra-time winner against Germany will live long in the memory, but there has been enough inconsistency in the last 12 months to suggest a repeat will be far from straightforward. We have three outright tips for the tournament, including 2/1 and 14/1 shots who could go all the way.
Euro 2025 outright predictions
Spain to win at 2/1
In the Nations League, England produced thumping home wins over Belgium and Portugal only to take one point from the two away matches, and they were unable to see off Spain in their final match despite winning their opener against the world champions.
Their qualifying campaign for this tournament provided a similar narrative as it contained two draws with Sweden and a home loss to France, so they could have their work cut out, not only because they face Les Bleues and the Netherlands in the group stage but also as they have to deal with the retirements of Mary Earps, Millie Bright and Fran Kirby in the run-up to the tournament.
When all this is considered, they look a skinny price and while Spain are even shorter, there is much better value to be had backing the team who beat the Lionesses in the World Cup final.
Montse Tome’s side look to have a much easier group that contains Italy, Portugal and Belgium, especially as they put 19 goals past the latter two in four Nations League meetings this season.
Even though star midfielder Aitana Bonmati has been hospitalised by viral meningitis, her Barcelona teammates Alexia Putellas, Salma Paralluelo and Claudia Pina will be keen to get back on the winning trail after the disappointment of their shock Champions League final defeat to Arsenal.
While they have kept just one clean sheet in their last 13 games, this is a squad who have demonstrated they know how to bottle a winning formula and they look strong candidates to add to their trophy collection.
Sweden to win each-way at 14/1
Germany go into the tournament desperate to make up for their disappointment last time and have scored 24 goals in their last five matches, but it is Group C rivals Sweden who could provide some each-way value.
You have to go back to 1984 for the last time they were queens of Europe, but they have performed consistently well in tournaments, reaching the semi-finals eight times since that success.
Manager Kurt Gerhardsson will be leaving his position at the end of the tournament, but his side have lost just two of their last 18 matches and will take on a Danish team in the group stage who they beat 6-1 recently.
Norway to win Group A at 10/11
Hosts Switzerland are in Group A, but they could find Norway too strong for them in a section that also includes Finland and Iceland.
Norway have not won the Euros since 1993 and will want to erase the memories of an 8-0 group defeat by the Lionesses three years ago, and they have enough talent to do just that.
Former Ballon d’Or Feminin winner Ada Hegerberg is back on the international scene after a self-imposed five-year exile and the Lyon forward will be well supported by Barcelona’s Caroline Graham Hansen and the trio of Women’s Super League stars Guro Reiten, Frida Maanum and Elisabeth Terland.
