Aberdeen Double Chance (Win or Draw)

Reason for tip

Aberdeen’s form may have fallen off recently, but they have won all 11 competitive home games this season and have drawn three of their last four meetings with Celtic, who have failed to win in two of their last seven on the road.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

Three of the last four meetings between these sides have ended as draws, including a 1-1 stalemate in the corresponding fixture last season, while Aberdeen have not conceded more than one goal in a home game all season.

Aberdeen vs Celtic Predictions

  • Aberdeen have won all 11 competitive home games this season.
  • Three of the last four meetings between these sides have ended all square.
  • Aberdeen have not conceded more than once in a home match all season.

Dons can get a result at the Pittodrie

A 1-1 draw at Hearts on Sunday leaves Aberdeen four points adrift of Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic, but they may be able to avoid seeing that chasm widen when they return to the Pittodrie Stadium on Wednesday.

The Dons’ fantastic start to the season has given way to some less-than-stellar form, but their four failures to win in November all came away from home and they still hold a perfect record after 11 home games this term.

Of course, league-leaders Celtic are their biggest test yet, but they picked up a point at Celtic Park in October and have drawn three of their last four meetings with the Bhoys, making an Aberdeen double chance selection a promising option.

A win for the Dons may be a stretch too far, though, and considering they haven’t conceded more than one goal at home all season a 1-1 correct score prediction appeals.
