Milan find form at crucial time

AC Milan head into matchday six of the Champions League sitting third in Group B and need a win to stand any chance of progressing to the knockout round, and they could get the win they so desperately need against a Liverpool side with nothing to play for.

The Italian hosts have returned to form at just the right time, with their weekend win over Salernitana making it three wins from their last four games. Not only that, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to return to the starting lineup on Tuesday to give them a boost going forward.

Klopp set to ring the changes

Normally Liverpool would be justified favourites here but Jurgen Klopp’s side have already wrapped up the top spot thanks to their perfect record of five wins from five.

With six domestic games yet to be played in December, the German is expected to ring the changes at the San Siro to give his first choice selections some much-needed rest.

Milan can grab the win

That expected rotation is the biggest factor in my choice to back an AC Milan win. Nothing but three points will do for the Italian outfit and they were unlucky to lose at Anfield earlier this season. They can put that right at the San Siro on Tuesday.

Liverpool have scored in every single competitive game this season, though, so a clean sheet could be beyond Milan and backing a 2-1 correct score prediction appeals.
