Al Ahly and Inter Miami kick off Club World Cup

The opening game of the FIFA Club World Cup takes place in the early hours of Sunday morning as Egyptian champions Al Ahly take on Inter Miami.

With Palmeiras and Porto joining these sides in Group A, both Al Ahly and Inter will view this almost as a must-win game if they are to stand a realistic chance of reaching the knockout rounds.

Inter have a huge advantage as this should feel almost like a home game, with the fixture taking place at the Hard Rock Stadium in their home city.

Miami have endured a mixed season in MLS but look to have found a bit of form coming into this tournament after picking up back-to-back wins.

An Inter win looks the best bet given their home advantage, and of course the presence of superstars Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets in their squad, but Al Ahly should be competitive.
