Almeria in need of points

This is a genuine six pointer, already, in the relegation battle, as Almeria go in search of not only important points, but also their first clean sheet of the season.

Both teams have scored in five of their nine outings, including three of their four games at Estadio de los Juegos Mediterráneos, the anomaly being a 1-0 defeat to Osasuna.

Rubi’s side have been decent at home though, winning twice, against Sevilla and Rayo Vallecano, so they will be confident of getting at least something out of this game.

Can Girona break away duck?

Giron meanwhile have been shocking away from home, picking up just one point from four games, suffering four defeats in the process.

Three of those outings have seen both teams score, as have their last six fixtures at all venues, displaying they at least know where the back of the net.

Míchel‘s side have clear problems in the final third though, as they are yet to keep a clean sheet and have conceded 15 times already.

I predict that both teams will score in this game, but I think the hosts could get a confidence boosting three points, with 2-1 to Almeria my correct score prediction.
