A disappointing campaign last season saw Anderlecht well off the pace in the Belgian title race but hope springs eternal and the most successful team in the country’s history will be looking to get back on track under Besnik Hasi.

The team lost seven of the 12 games they played under the 53-year-old, who took over in March, but have made some solid signings and will have benefitted from a full summer of Hasi’s tutelage.

Anderlecht beat Hacken in Europa League qualifying on Thursday and have a decent chance of following up in this league clash.

The visitors were poor on the road last season, taking just 15 points from a possible 45 whereas Anderlecht were stronger at home.

That could be replicated again here with Hasi’s men fancied to come out on top of what should be a competitive affair.
