Andorra vs Poland Predictions

A matter of time

Despite heavy defeats on both occasions to England, Andorra managed to frustrate the group leaders in the first half before c0nceding three goals in each game after the break.

Poland will be looking to emulate the nation that sit three points above them in the group as they look to assert their position in the play-off place in Group I.

The Poles were kept to within a goal at half-time the last time these teams faced off back in January before eventually prevailing by three goals to-nil. A narrow 1-0 win over Albania last month saw Poland move into second in the group but they still have work to do to qualify with Albania two points behind them.

Andorra have won two qualifiers but both wins came against the lowest-ranked nation in the world in San Marino. Across the other six qualifiers, they have scored just twice and conceded 19 times.

Poland meanwhile are the highest scorers in the group with 25 to their name and have scored 18 goals in their last five World Cup qualifiers away from home.

The visitors have never lost to a nation outside the top 100 and we don’t expect them to start here. In fact, given that Andorra have been losing at half-time and full-time in six of their qualifiers, this should be a comfortable trip for Poland with a 4-0 win.
