Lyon aim to continue strong away form

Lyon travel to Angers on Saturday looking to extend their impressive run of away results this season and repeat the success of previous trips to Stade Raymond Kopa.

Les Gones are unbeaten in their last eight away games and have taken three points on four of their last six visits to Angers.

Pierre Sage’s side have been prolific in front of goal recently, scoring four goals apiece in their recent wins over Qarabag and Nice. Alexandre Lacazette grabbed a hat-trick against les Aiglons on Sunday to make it five goals in five games for him.

Angers struggling at home 

None of this augurs well for Angers, who have lost four of their six home league games and conceded multiple goals in four of the last five. Alexandre Dujeux’s side appear destined for a season of struggle, although last weekend’s win over La Havre has given them some breathing space in the bottom five.

Lyon should run out winners on Saturday, but both teams could well be on the scoresheet with Angers regularly finding the back of their opponents’ net at home.
