The League One champions continue their brilliant start to the Championship season. Those results have been their only victories of the season so far, as the Angus side drew their opener with Queen of the South before going on to lose to Inverness CT. However, they’re still in a comfortable 4^th place position on 7 points.

After narrowly avoiding relegation last season, Partick Thistle’s season so far in the league has been nothing short of a disaster. The side managed by Gary Caldwell has only picked up a single point in the first 4 Championship games, with the only saving grace being that the side has progressed in both the League Cup and Challenge Cup.

Partick Thistle will come into this game full of confidence after their most recent result and that will certainly help them, especially as they really need a win here to catch up with the teams above them. The same can be said for Arbroath, who have surprised a lot of people by being so far up the table already. It’s still too early to say that they could push for promotion, but so far so good.
