Arminia Bielefeld vs SC Freiburg Predictions

Arminia Bielefeld enjoyed their first season back in the top-flight for over ten years. There were some tough times as they finished one position above the relegation play-off spot, but all in all it can be classed as a success for such a small club.

They come here on the back of a mixed pre-season, with a win against Hannover masking some poorer results, namely their loss to third division Verl. They have since won in the DFB Pokal to restore a bit of confidence.

SC Freiburg also managed a win in their first competitive game of the season against Wurzburger Kickers and while last season’s tenth-place finish was a slight disappointment they are worthy favourites for this game against a side that lost four of their final eight home league games last season and only scored 26 goals all season.
