Arsenal vs Dinamo Zagreb Betting Tips

Arsenal have had a typically inconsistent season so far, with periods of excellent form being disrupted by disappointing results.

One of these disappointing results was against Tuesday’s opposition, when Dinamo Zagreb beat them 2-1 at home in the Champions League opener back in September.

They are in a spell of disappointing form now as well. They have only won of their last five games in all competitions, and they have lost three times.

Bayern Munich thrashed them 5-1 in Germany after Sheffield Wednesday humbled them 3-0 in the Capital One Cup. Most recently was their 2-1 defeat to West Brom on Saturday, a result which saw them relinquish the chance to go top of the Premier League table and instead slip to 4^th.

Their disappointing results in the Champions League have seen them struggling in Group F as well. They sit in 3^rd position and have a six point margin to make up on 2^nd placed Olympiakos with only two games remaining.

A draw in Bayern Munich’s game against Olympiakos would see them denied qualification to the knockout stages, but a win for either team would keep their hopes alive for at least one more match day.

Dinamo Zagreb had gone a whole 50 games unbeaten in all competitions before they paid Bayern Munich a visit, who quickly put that record to bed with a comprehensive 5-0 win.

Since then they have lost four of their nine matches, with four wins and a draw making up the rest of the results. Quite a difference in form.

They are bottom of Group F, but level on points with Arsenal. Should they get an unlikely duo of wins against Arsenal and Bayern Munich they could still qualify for the knockout stages.

Arsenal’s defence has been pretty leaky recently, conceding 11 goals in their last five outings. Dinamo Zagreb have scored in five of their last six games as well, so I think odds of 10/11 for Both Teams to Score are really good value.
