Arsenal’s long reign as the kings of North London came to an end last weekend as they lost 2-0 at rivals Tottenham, confirming that the Premier League title challengers will definitely finish above The Gunners this season.

That is far from the only concern Arsenal have though. They are currently 6th in the table, and whilst they do have games in hand on the teams above them they find themselves six points adrift of the top four and in danger of missing out on Champions League qualification.

Their form record doesn’t suggest that they can bridge this gap either. They have won just three of their last eight Premier League games and have lost four times, including a 3-0 humiliation at Crystal Palace and a 3-1 loss to West Brom.

At home they do improve a lot, but they’re facing a Manchester United side who are proving incredibly tough to beat this season. The visitors beat Celta Vigo 1-0 away from home to dramatically increase their chances of reaching the Europa League Final, extending their unbeaten streak to 12 games in all competitions.

In the Premier League that unbeaten run stretched back even further, with their last loss coming all the way back in October. Unfortunately for them the 25 games since that loss have been plagued by draws. 12 of these 25 games have ended all square, leaving Manchester United a point off the top four and also in danger of missing out on Champions League football.

Away from home they surprisingly improve, winning eight and drawing three of their last 11 games. Jose Mourinho has also avoided defeat in his last 12 Premier League matches against Arsene Wenger, so the signs aren’t looking good for The Gunners.

With all this taken into account, odds of 5/6 for a Manchester United Win or Draw Double Chance look fantastic value for money. They have avoided defeat against Manchester City, Everton, Leicester, and Liverpool on the road this season. Their catalogue of stalemates make me lean towards a 1-1 correct score predictions at 6/1 as well.
