Aston Villa’s six-match unbeaten streak came to an abrupt end at Nottingham Forest but they should be able to bounce back in style back at Villa Park against AZ.

The Villans have won seven of their eight competitive home games this season and scored 25 goals in the process, while they thrashed AZ 4-1 in Alkmaar last month and a win on Thursday would put them within touching distance of qualifying for the knockout rounds.

AZ can trouble home defence

Unai Emery’s side are unlikely to complete a shutout, though. They have conceded in ten of their last 12 competitive games and five of their last six at home and now face a talented AZ attack.
