Azerbaijan vs Italy Betting Tips

Azerbaijan have managed a couple of very decent results in the last few matches, along with one disappointing one.

They first managed goalless draws against both Norway and Croatia, which are two very impressive results considering both of those teams are fighting for qualification to the finals.

But then they could only pick up a point against group minnows Malta, a result which denied them the chance to move up to 4^th place in Group H.

Italy only managed a 1-0 victory at home to Malta back at the start of September, and they followed this up with another 1-0 win over Bulgaria to leave them at the top of Group H going into the penultimate qualification game.

They are two points ahead of 2^nd placed Norway and four points clear of Croatia in 3^rd, so a win on Saturday would see them officially qualify for Euro 2016.

They haven’t been overly convincing in any of their matches though, including friendlies. They have only managed to score more than one goal in one of their last nine matches, and this includes two games against Malta.

All of their last three Euro 2016 qualifying wins have ended 1-0, and only one of their last nine matches have ended with Over 2.5 Goals.

Azerbaijan have only seen three or more goals scored in one of their last five group games, and they have only scored six times in their eight group matches.

This makes Under 2.5 Goals look like a banker, but on it’s own odds of 8/15 look a little short.

I do think Italy will win this game, but in a typically defensive way. This makes odds of 6/5 for an Italy Win and Under 2.5 goals look really attractive, and a 1-0 correct scoreline at 11/4 also looks good.
