Barca hard to stop

Real Madrid’s recent poor run of form has seen Barcelona open up a four-point lead at the top of the La Liga table and they could extend that to seven by the time Los Blancos play on Sunday.

Barca host Osasuna on Saturday and they have a rock solid record at home to these opponents, winning 13 of the last 14 head-to-heads in their own back yard.

The visitors are having a poor season by their solid midtable standards, they are only three points above the relegation zone after losing eight of their opening 15 matches.

Only the bottom two have lost more games than that and their away record has been terrible, taking just two points from a possible 24 on their travels.

Nevertheless Osasuna have been better going forwards recently, scoring nine goals in their last three matches. Barcelona do tend to give teams a chance at the back, they have just one clean sheet in their last 16 outings in all competitions, so it’s well worth taking Hansi Flick’s side to win a game in which both teams find the net.
