Barnsley vs Luton Predictions

Luton do some good work on their travels and they look a solid bet to get an away win at Barnsley on Saturday. Conor Hourihane’s side have suffered two straight home defeats in League One.

Luton are five places above Barnsley in the table, but both teams have won more games than they’ve lost this season. Luton, in eighth, have seven wins and six defeats, while Barnsley are 13th with six wins and four losses.

The hosts’ recent form is a concern, with just one win in Barnsley’s last six League One matches.

Luton are on a run of three successive clean sheets, their longest run of games without conceding this season, while Barnsley have failed to keep a shutout in any of their last 14 League One home games.

Luton have won four of their seven League One games this season by a 1-0 scoreline and, with under 2.5 goals in five of their last seven, a narrow win looks on the cards. Two of Barnsley’s four defeats have also been by a 1-0 scoreline.
