Bayern Munich to Win and Over 3.5 Match Goals

Reason for tip

Bayern Munich have scored 92 league goals already this season and their goals per game average actually goes up to 4.1 goals per game against top‑six opponents. They thumped Leverkusen 3-0 at Allianz Arena in November and are arguably in better form now, so expect a big away win.

Bayern Munich 3-1

Reason for tip

Bayern have won all eight meetings with top‑six sides this season by an aggregate score of 33-6. They eased down in the second half of their 3-0 victory over Leverkusen at home, failing to score after the break, but they should keep the pace up this time. After 10 goals in their last two games without Kane, another high‑scoring display looks likely, but Leverkusen can grab a goal and stop the bleeding at 3-1.

Luis Diaz To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Luis Diaz has scored five goals in his last six Bundesliga appearances. He would be one goal off being the Bundesliga’s top scorer without Harry Kane, who is too short in the betting after missing Bayern’s last couple of games, around.

Kane to return for scarily-good Bayern

Bayern Munich are in scarily good form at the moment and should benefit from the return of Harry Kane for Saturday’s Bundesliga trip to BayArena. Vincent Kompany’s side smashed Atalanta 6-1 in Bergamo on Tuesday without the England striker, who also missed their 4-1 home win over Monchengladbach last weekend.

Leverkusen also impressed on the continental stage in midweek and their performance in a 1-1 draw against Arsenal should give them confidence, but the visit of the Bundesliga leaders represents an even tougher test.

Kasper Hjulmand’s side looked tired in last weekend’s 3-3 draw with Freiburg, something Alejandro Grimaldo admitted afterwards, and they were punished late on by Matthias Ginter’s equaliser.

Diaz can deliver at BayArena

Leverkusen have now conceded five times across their last two league games and remain outside the top four, while Bayern arrive in ruthless domestic form. Kompany’s runaway leaders have scored 92 goals in 25 matches and are on course to smash the all‑time Bundesliga record of 101.

They have won all eight meetings with top‑six sides this season by an aggregate score of 33-6, ending Leverkusen’s 37‑game unbeaten away run earlier in the campaign with a 3-0 victory that could have been more emphatic. With their average of 3.7 goals per game, another high‑scoring display looks likely.

Leverkusen do carry a threat — especially through 19‑year‑old Christian Kofane, who has scored in back‑to‑back Bundesliga matches — but Bayern’s firepower should prove decisive. A 3-1 away win appeals, with Luis Diaz offering better value than Kane to score after five goals in his last six league games.
