      Romania to Win

      Reason for tip

Romania won the reverse fixture 2-1 and they are unbeaten in six Euro 2024 qualifiers so they should come up trumps against Belarus, who have failed to score in back-to-back games with Andorra and Israel.

      Romania 2-0

      Reason for tip

Romania have kept clean sheets on away trips to Andorra and Kosovo and backing 2-0 may be the way to go against a Belarus side clearly lacking a regular source of goals.

      Belarus vs Romania Predictions

      • Romania are unbeaten in six Euro 2024 qualifiers
      • Belarus have won only two of their last 16 Euro qualifiers
      • Belarus have failed to score in back-to-back internationals

      Romania can maintain unbeaten run

Romania have put themselves in with a strong chance of qualifying for Euro 2024, having won three and drawn three of their six games in Group I, and they should bolster their hopes with victory against Belarus.

Edward Iordanescu’s side won the reverse fixture in March 2-1, but a 2-2 draw at Switzerland in their last away game shows that they are also pretty capable on their travels.

Romania have also kept clean sheets away at Andorra and Kosovo and they should have little to fear against a Belarus side that have won only two of their last 16 Euro qualifiers.

      Belarus lacking a scoring threat

The hosts have taken only four points from their six games and have scored only four goals, two of which came in their sole victory at home to Kosovo.

That lack of firepower could prove costly against Romania, who are unbeaten in six internationals between the pair, winning on the last two occasions.

So odds-on bakers can back Romania, who have lost only one of their last ten internationals, with confidence and correct-score punters may want to opt for a 2-0 away win given the hosts’ lack of scoring threat and the fact they are playing on neutral soil in Budapest.
