Benevento vs Roma Predictions

• Benevento are without a win in six Serie A games.

Roma to ease past struggling Benevento

Benevento’s return to Serie A started positively, but Filippo Inzaghi’s side are now without a win in six league games, a run that has seen them slide down the table.

Sunday’s hosts are also without a victory in their last four games at the Stadio Ciro Vigorito, although they are at least scoring regularly, netting in nine of their last 11.

Goals have not been a problem for Roma of late either, as they have scored two or more in four of their last five games.

It is a similar story when the Giallorossi have met Benevento in the past too, as they have scored 15 goals in their four previous meetings, including a 5-2 success at the Stadio Olimpico earlier this season.

Roma also have an impeccable record on their travels against sides in the bottom-half of the Serie A standings this season, as they have won all four such meetings at Udinese, Genoa, Bologna and Crotone.

We are certainly predicting that record to be extended on Sunday, although we do predict Benevento will score, as they have netted in their last three meetings with Roma, while Paulo Fonseca’s side have kept only one Serie A clean-sheet on their travels this term.
