Benfica to land the big one at the Luz

Benfica have enjoyed success in seven of their last nine home games in the Primeira Liga and they should be backed to get the victory when they host Porto at Estadio da Luz on Sunday.

Benfica finished above Porto last season, with 80 points to their 71, but the visitors are top of the league this time. They have won 21 of their 24 games, while Benfica are third with 17 wins and seven draws.

Benfica maintained their winning run with a 2-1 victory over Gil Vicente in their last Primeira Liga game last Monday. Antonio Silva put his side ahead on 35 minutes, and Andreas Schjelderup also netted.
