Can Birmingham City cause an upset?

The hosts have hit some form having won both of their last two matches to nil and have scored five goals in the process. This will be a stern test as they welcome the league leaders but Birmingham City will be confident they can cause them plenty of problems. Head coach John Eustace has labelled Burnley’s squad as “Premier League standard” but he’ll do everything he can to guide the hosts to consecutive home wins for the first time since November 2021.

Vincent Kompany’s side are unbeaten in all of their last 12 outings across all competitions and last suffered defeat away to Watford in August. They have scored in six successive away games but have also conceded in four of those. In fact, Burnley have shipped at least one goal in nine of their previous 11 road games which would suggest that chances could be presented for both teams.
