Canaries can edge close encounter

Norwich, once again, appear right at home in English footballs second tier. Dean Smiths are unbeaten in their last seven  in the league (W6, D1) and find themselves just three points off pacesetters Sheffield United. Norwich have won each of their last two away matches, while all four of their games away from Carrow Road this season have been settled by a single goal. Norwich are fancied to edge Saturday’s game at Bloomfield Road, in what should be a closely fought affair.

Blackpool have failed to impress this season  

Blackpool have struggled this season and are finding it hard to fill the void left by Josh Bowler’s departure to Nottingham Forest. Blackpool have won one of their last six in the league and were bitterly disappointing in their two games leading into the international break, where they fell to defeats at both Rotherham and Millwall. Four of Blackpool’s five home games this season have been settled by a one-goal margin and Saturday’s hosts should be able to keep things close against a Norwich side who have kept one away clean sheet this season.
