Bodo Glimt Flying High

The form of Bodo Glimt has been staggering of late, although it took until a 6-1 thumping of Jose Mourinho’s Roma earlier on in the group stages for people to sit up and take notice.

The Norwegians have record six straight victories on home soil, while they are 20 games unbeaten, racking up 14 successes in the process.

On top of that, their attack is lethal. Only one team this season has netted more times than their 11 goals in the Conference League group stages and on 14 occasions in the last 20 games they have scored at least twice.

They have all the credentials to bag another victory here, and a comfortable one at that, to move through to the knock-out stages

Sofia Poor At Both Ends

CSKA Sofia managed to get their only point so far of the Europa Conference League group stages when they drew 0-0 with Bodo Glimt in Bulgaria earlier this season.

Other than that game, they have lost three out of three, conceding eight times and scoring just once in the process.

Domestically things are a bit easier for them, winning five of their last seven games, but they are finding the step up to continental football a difficult one.

Even in the First Professional Football League, they have failed to score in two of their last four matches, and I expect the form book to play out in this one as I cannot see them scoring. I predict a 2-0 win to Bodo Glimt.
