      Scotland to Win

      Reason for tip

Bolivia routinely struggle away from the high-altitude of their home country. They have lost six of their last nine games, including defeat in the World Cup intercontinental play-off against Iraq, while Scotland will be keen to get a win under their belt ahead of their first World Cup campaign in almost 30 years.

      Scotland 2-1

      Reason for tip

Scotland may look on track for a win, but they have no clean sheet in their last seven games and Bolivia have scored six goals in their last three games. This includes a 2-1 defeat to Iraq last time out, while Scotland won 2-1 against Belarus in October.

      Mctominay To Score Anytime

      Reason for tip

Scott McTominay is the top goalscorer in Scotland’s squad and 13 of his 14 goals have come in his last 32 games. He ended the club season by scoring in three of his final seven appearances for Napoli.

      Bolivia vs Scotland Predictions

      • Bolivia have lost six of their last nine games.
      • Scotland are without a clean sheet in seven attempts.

Tartan Army backed to boost morale in New Jersey

Scotland have lost three of their last five games, but they should return to winning ways against Bolivia, who tend to struggle away from their high-altitude home stadium.

Bolivia lost out on World Cup qualification in an intercontinental play-off against Iraq at the start of April, and their last win not on Bolivian soil came in a friendly meeting with Jordan in Istanbul last October.

They have lost six of their nine games since, and Steve Clarke will be keen to boost Scotland’s morale before their first World Cup campaign in almost 30 years begins.

They look good value for the win but, with no clean sheet in their last seven attempts, a shutout is unlikely against a Bolivia side that have scored six goals in their last three games.

Bolivia’s last outing was a 2-1 defeat and Scotland won by the same scoreline against Belarus in October, singling it out in the correct score market.

Scott McTominay could be the scorer of at least one of those goals. The Napoli midfielder is the top goalscorer in Clarke’s squad with 14 goals, and 13 of those have come in his last 32 games for his country. He ended the season with a goal in three of his last seven appearances for his club and will be looking to make a big impact for the Tartan Army.
