      Bologna to Win

      Reason for tip

Bologna are unbeaten in nine at home and have won seven of their last eight Serie A games at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara. With Juventus struggling for consistency and clean sheets away from home, Bologna are tipped to secure a vital victory in the Champions League race.

      Bologna 2-1

      Reason for tip

A 2-1 home win for Bologna is the correct-score pick. Juventus have conceded in each of their last three away games, and six of the last eight meetings between these teams have seen both sides score. Ten of Bologna’s wins this season have been by a single-goal margin.

      Bologna vs Juventus Predictions

      Bologna can leapfrog Juve

Bologna have won seven of their last eight home games in Serie A and they should be backed to get the better of Juventus on Sunday in a massive game in the race to play in next season’s Champions League.

The two sides are separated by just one point, with Juventus fourth and Bologna fifth in the table. Both teams have 16 wins, but the hosts have one more defeat than the visitors.

Bologna are on a string of positive results at home, having gone nine games unbeaten in Serie A.

They have been impressive defensively at home this season, conceding just 14 goals in 17 Serie A games – an average of 0.82 goals per game.

Juventus’ recent form in Serie A has been up and down, with three wins, one draw and two defeats in their last six games. The victories came against bottom club Monza, Lecce and Genoa, but that run also included a demoralising 3-0 defeat by Fiorentina.

Juventus have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last three Serie A away games, which could be a concern for them here.

Bologna may be able to edge out Juventus in a close encounter, with a 2-1 home win the correct-score pick. Six of the last eight Serie A meetings between these sides have seen both teams score, and ten of Bologna’s 16 wins this season were by a single goal.
