After a strong start to the season, Boreham Wood have dropped off a bit of late but despite that their 1-1 draw at Eastleigh on Saturday leaves them within two points of the top of the National League.

However, their defence has become a concern recently. They opened the season with four consecutive clean sheets but have since conceded nine goals in five games and have failed to keep a single clean sheet. Fortunately for the hosts, they have still managed to find the net in all five of these games.

Torquay haven’t been the best at the back, either. They have conceded 18 goals across their nine games so far and have managed just two clean sheets, both of which came on home soil. They did put five past Wealdstone on Saturday, though, and have failed to find the net just once this season.

With both teams struggling at the back but still thriving at the other end of the pitch I’m backing both teams to score on Tuesday, while three draws in six games for Boreham Wood makes a 2-2 correct score prediction appealing.
