Haaland Back Firing For Dortmund

It has been a tricky few weeks for Dortmund, who went on a run of four defeats in seven matches when Erling Haaland was out injured.

The Norwegian wonder-kid is back and firing on all cylinders now though, scoring in both of his appearances since returning to fitness, and that makes Marco Rose’s side a completely different proposition.

The Germans cannot qualify for the knock-out stages due to their inferior head-to-head record with Sporting, but they will want to finish the group stages on a high.

They have scored 11 goals in five games so far, and with Haaland back, I predict they will put on another good display in front of goal.

Besiktas Struggling

The chink of hope for Besiktas is that Dortmund have only kept four clean sheets in 24 games this season, but in truth this fixture looks like a complete mismatch.

The Turkish side have lost each of their five group games, failing to score in their two away matches at Ajax (2-0) and Sporting (4-0).

They have conceded 14 goals in the competition so far, only Club Bruges have a worse defence, and have won only two of their last fourteen matches in all competitions.

Dortmund should win this game, and they should do so comprehensively. I predict they will pick up a victory and that there will be three or more goals in the match, with a 3-0 correct score prediction.
