Draw

Reason for tip

Both of these teams head into this clash having proved they are difficult to beat and it could be impossible to separate them in their warm-up encounter.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

A draw looks likely in this one and with Poland’s home matches generally featuring few goals, a 1-1 final scoreline looks an attractive correct-score proposition

Poland vs Ukraine Predictions

  • Both of these teams are unbeaten in their last six matches
  • Seven of Poland’s last eight home games have featured fewer than three goals
  • Ukraine have conceded more than once in just one of their last nine outings

Euro 2024 hopefuls look difficult to separate

Some international friendlies in the run-up to big tournaments can be one-sided if they feature a team of qualifiers against an outfit looking forward to sitting on a beach, but this one between the eastern European neighbours could prove to be a tight affair.

Neither Ukraine or Poland are expected to go very far in Germany this summer, especially the Poles who find themselves in a tough section that includes France and teh Netherland, but they at least head into competition in strong form.

Both teams are unbeaten in their last seven games and Poland may perhaps be the more confident having not lost in their last eight on their own patch.

Goals may be at a premium in Warsaw clash

However, while it is difficult to cage Ukraine’s abilities to some extent as they transcend Europe for their home matches, they will take a great deal of confidence in holding Germany to a goalless draw in Nuremburg on Friday.

They even had a late goal disallowed for offside, but the main prize for them will not be a win in Warsaw on Friday, so we could witness another cagey affair.

Seven of Poland’s last eight home games have featured fewer than three goals, so a low-scoring draw appeals, which makes 1-1 an attractive proposition for correct-score punters.
