      Borussia Dortmund vs PAOK Predictions

Borussia Dortmund have been hot and cold this season, especially in Europe. They flit between scoring for fun and hammering opponents to disappointingly failing to attack enthusiastically.

Luckily for them they have been more hot than cold, winning 17 of their 23 competitive games since the Bundesliga season started. Three losses and three draws make up the remainder of their results.

They have won three of their five Europa League group matches and picked up a total of ten points as they go into the final group game.

They sit in 2nd though, level on points but behind on head to head results with Krasnodar. PAOK are six points adrift of them in 3rd, so they have sealed qualification but will be hoping they can take the top spot in Group C.

Borussia Dortmund have won nine of their last 11 games in all competitions, losing against Hamburger and Krasnodar a couple of weeks ago.

PAOK come into this match on the back of a six match unbeaten streak in all competitions, winning their last three games. But their last Europa League game ended goalless with Qabala, with three other draws joining the one defeat to give them just four points from the first five games.

They have only scored two goals during this campaign, conceding three at the other end. It will be really interesting on Thursday, with a Borussia Dortmund side who have scored 22 goals in their last seven Europa League matches coming up against a team who focus on defensive stability.

But PAOK’s defence has been slipping recently. They have conceded 11 goals in their last seven games in all competitions, and Dortmund have netted a huge 23 goals in their last five home games.

I think Dortmund could hammer PAOK on Thursday, and odds of 11/10 for a Borussia Dortmund Win and Over 3.5 Goals look good value considering their form at home. I’m also going for a 4-0 correct scoreline at 17/2.
