Borussia Monchengladbach vs Juventus Betting Tips

After a shocking start to the season of six losses on the trot for Borussia Monchengladbach, it seems that last season’s 3^rd placed Bundesliga side have finally found their feet.

They have only lost one of their last nine matches in all competitions and are currently enjoying a six match unbeaten streak where they have won five games.

Their one loss did come in the Champions League though as Manchester City beat them 2-1 in Monchengladbach. Their last European night ended goalless in Turin as they visited Juventus.

This draw against the Serie A champions is their only point in the competition as of yet, leaving them at the bottom of Champions League Group D. A win on Tuesday could send them above 3^rd placed Sevilla though.

There hasn’t been a better time to try and beat Juventus in recent years either. The runaway Italian champions have struggled in the opening stages of this season.

Juventus had a terrible start to the season, and they don’t seem to have fully recovered from that shaky start yet. They sit in a very disappointing 10^th position in Serie A with just 15 points from their opening ten games.

They have only lost one of their last seven games in all competitions though, with four wins and two draws making up the rest of the results.

But Juventus’ two wins and a draw in the Champions League do see them top Group D with seven points, and no matter what happens on Tuesday they will remain in the qualification positions for another round of matches at least. A win could allow them to stretch their lead to four points with two games remaining.

Juventus have only managed to win two of their last seven away days in all competitions though, so I think Monchengladbach have a real chance of taking some more points from the Italian giants. Odds of 3/5 for a Borussia Monchengladbach Win or Draw Double Chance look good value as well, so I’m backing this alongside a 1-1 draw correct scoreline at 5/1.
