Bournemouth vs Everton Predictions
Bournemouth look sure fire favourites to end up back in the Championship next season at the moment.
They picked up a few impressive wins after a slow start to the season, but a long term injury to the in form Callum Wilson has hit them hard, and they haven’t won a game since he limped off in that defeat to Stoke.
They are currently on an eight match winless streak in all competitions where they have lost six and drawn two, conceding 19 goals and scoring six.
This has seen them slip into the Premier League’s relegation zone, with their nine point tally seeing them one point from safety in 19th position.
To be fair to them though, it’s not just Callum Wilson missing. Max Gradel and Tyrone Mings also have long term knee injuries, while Artur Boruc, Christian Atsu, and Tommy Elphick are also sidelined.
Everton’s early season injury crisis is slowly ebbing away, with only Phil Jagielka, Stephen Pienaar, Tony Hibbert, and Tyias Browning expected to sit this one out.
Everton have hit a bit of a purple patch in recent weeks. They are unbeaten in their last four games in all competitions, scoring an impressive 12 goals on the way thanks to the on fire Romelu Lukaku.
This has seen them rise to 7th in the Premier League table, and they have shown a marked improvement over their disappointing start to the campaign last season. A win on Saturday could send them to within a point of the Europa League qualification positions.
With Bournemouth conceding an average of three goals per game over their last eight matches and Everton notching 12 in three, I’m expecting the in form attackers from Everton to have a field day. Odds of 6/4 for an Everton win look really good value for money, and I’m going for a 3-1 correct score prediction at 20/1 as well.
