      Bournemouth vs Tottenham Hotspur Predictions

Bournemouth aren’t doing too badly in their first ever season in the Premier League, but unfortunate injuries are seriously threatening their chances of staying in the division for longer than a season.

Three major Bournemouth players have been ruled out for the majority of the season, with Max Gradel, Tyrone Mings, and Callum Wilson all out with cruciate ligament injuries.

The latest major casualty was Wilson. The striker was in exceptional form and helping Bournemouth to some good results, but his injury has seen Bournemouth slip off.

They haven’t won any of their games since his injury. These results were two losses against Stoke and Manchester City and a draw against fellow new boys Watford.

This, as well as their poor start to the season, has left them dangerously close to the relegation zone in 17th position with a total of eight points from their nine games so far.

Tottenham Hotspur have some injury concerns of their own, with Nacer Chadli, Nassim Bentaleb, Heung-Min Son, Tom Carroll, and Alex Pritchard all expected to miss the trip to Bournemouth.

Spurs are also on a bit of a winless run at the moment. They haven’t picked up a win in any of their last four matches in all competitions, with a trio of draws against Monaco, Swansea, and Liverpool preceding a loss to Anderlecht in midweek.

This was a disappointing result for Spurs, who went ahead through an early Christian Eriksen goal before allowing the Belgians back into the game.

Their results leave them in 7th position with 14 points from their opening nine Premier League games. A win on Sunday could send them into crucial top four positions.

These two sides have only met once before, with Spurs coming away 4-0 victors in a friendly match back in 2010. I’m expecting them to get a first competitive win against the home side on Sunday, as Bournemouth are really struggling without their key players. I think odds of 5/4 for this outcome are excellent value as well, along with a 2-1 correct scoreline at 9/1.
